Hey, Anyone came upon a situation where the LI4278 is not able to scan any bar codes, not even the Set Default bar code. I'm getting too many complaints about this issue, and taking out the battery is unacceptable to the customer. What is the cause of this? is there another way to release the LI4278 lock?

Niv and I have discussed this already, but just in case others are wondering how to recover from the lockup without removing the battery place the scanner in the cradle and hold the trigger for approximately 30 seconds. The scanner will reset (you will hear the low, medium, high) power up beeps. At this point the scanner should work again.
