Communicating with RFD90 via iOS RFID SDK always reports SRFID_RESULT_ASCII_CONNECTION_REQUIRED

Hey Zebra Forum,

I am trying to integrate a RFD90 into our product via the srfidISdkApi and got the following successfully working:

  • get a list of devices
  • establish a connection via srfidEstablishCommunicationSession

But then calling -srfidLocateReader:doEnable:aStatusMessage: or other functions always results in a SRFID_RESULT_ASCII_CONNECTION_REQUIRED result code.

What am I missing? What can I do?
