how to store a format on GT800 (EPL)?

Hi All:
We tried to store a label format onto our GT800 (EPL) printer via Zebra Designer 3 Developer, however no success.
is zebra Designer 3 compatible with GT800 printer? if not, do we have to use zebra designer 2?
