Source Code Protection

Is there now or are there plans to include some sort of protection for the application source files (HTML/Javascript) within RhoElements?  Since the application running on a device and not on a server it would be relatively easy for someone to tamper or modify the application.

Hi Mattias,

Source code obfuscaters are useful though obviously do not offer complete intellectual protection... and in my experience can break my JS!

You should be able to track your licenses using the licensing website at https://softwarelicensing.motorolasolutions.com/

Hi Paul, we are aware of the problem of Source Code protection.  Our current road map includes a solution to this problem in Version 2 of RhoElements and we are still investigating the best way forward with this.
