'07 World Wide Sales Conf - Feedback needed

All,

We are in very early stages of planning for SE specific breakout tracks for the '07 WWSC and would like to know what types of information you would like to see covered. We have not yet received full commitment from the event coordinators, but we would like to get this early feedback to help drive this commiment and make it a very sucessfull and productive conference for the SE community.

Please respond with your suggestions and comments. What types of topics/content do you want covered? How do you want it presented? etc.

Thanks

-Tech Ops

Paul Hurford has an excellent basis of information. So my apologies for volunteering him, but our SE teams would welcome this forum based on a lot of the discussion threads that I see on this forum or hear elsewhere.

Thanks in advance for your consideration, Diana

    Indepth technical
Indepth technical presentation on competitor product features versus Symbol product features.  I am not referring to comparing data sheets, but setup differences, roaming methods, security authentication, etc.  Information on known nuances and how to work around them for a mixed manufacturer environment.  Actual competitor products for "hands on" comparison.  It would be good if competitors in all product groups (ADC, MCD, WID, RFID & MSD) were covered.

    Break Out One:Competitive Win

Break Out One:Competitive Win of the year:  Presented by????

    1. Have the SE/SEM speak to what they were up against and how they beat them.
    2. What obsticles did they have to overcome? OS? Software Applications?  Wireless?  Security?  How'd they win?

Break Out Two: A round table of competitive products on tables next to Symbol products.

    1. One side of the table has the Product Mgr & Engineer responsible for the Symbol products.  The SE's then go around and ask questions as they make their rounds.
