I have a large customer that has reported several devices (MC3090s) with what seems to be corrupt files. All files in the Telnet directory are showing the same file system properties. Even the CRC value from the remote capture utility  has the same value. The contents of each of the files are all the same. Although I still suspect Wavelinks Avalanche is related to the the issue, after running scandisk there was an error reported - 'lost cluster chain'. I  am after as much info as I can get regards the flash file system, as the customer will now be asking these of me.  eg: 

Given the devices are now over 5 years old, is the likelyhood of these files system errors to be increased.
What are the recommendations regards automatically running scanvolume after a reboot?
The likely cause of these errors are related to cold boots, but what other things could cause these errors.
