My Windows drivers not recognizing TC75 via USB

Has anyone faced this issue? I am using the legacy AndroidDrv010201.zip drivers.

My TC75 Build is 01-23257-K-06-03-00-D2

Note back in December same issue is reported under
USB issue : MTP,PTP and mass storage

After several attempts I am still getting an error on PC when installing driver but the TC75 finally offered to TURN ON USB MASS STORAGE. I can now see the Internal memory.
Note: the SD card was inserted but not visible from the system (file explorer or camera application stating SD card missing). After reinserting SD card (it was properly in place first time), the system can see it now.

Problem solved but first USB connections were erratic : Driver install and SD card detection.

Let product team whether you're experiencing same challenges...

thanks,
Thibaut

I just updated the build to 01-23257-K-08-01-00-D3 and my option for USB Mass storage has disappeared. I need to be able to access the files on the external SD card which I was able to do prior to the update.

Since you just upgraded, maybe this is the problem:

For KK,  USB ADB is hidden

Follow these steps:
Settings -> About phone > Build number
Then tap Build number slowly about 9 times,
Then you will get pop-up message,
Then you will get “Developer options” showed --- it was hidden
Then you can turn on “USB debugging”

I can debug with the device with no issues.

One of our partner are seeing the same issue but with K-07-03-00-D3 version.

I tried to connect to my laptop (TC70, TC55 works fine) but the TC75 DV doesn't work.
The USB device is not recognized.

Tried this with both SD card and without SD card.

Any ideas what goes wrong?

Thibaut,

Is this still an issue with you?

Any issues with connecting to your PC?

Any issues with SD Cards and file folders?

Have you been able to upgrade to K-07-03-00-D3?

Thank you.

Hi Thibaut,
Works ok for me on Windows 7.
No issues on OSX.
