I use ScannerInfo.getModelNumber() to get model number of scan engine of MC40, but the function return empty string when I tested on MC40 KK.
The MC40 OS build number: 01-12-03-4AJ22-K-V0-M1-072015.
 

 
Did you get the scan engine model number on MC40 successfully?
