Reading data from SE3307 with Raspbian Linux

Hello,

is there official or possible way to integrate SE3307 barcode scanner with Raspberry PI 2 running Raspbian Linux? In official software downloads there is only Windows SDK, and I can not find anything about Linux.

Should I connect it using UART TTL port and keep reading from this port? Are there any drivers to this?

Is there USB driver or way to read from this device in Linux?

Can anyone please recommend / answer?

Thanks,

Lukasz

I have zero experience with it but there is a Scanner SDK for Linux that supports the DS457: https://www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/software/developer-tools/scanner-sdk-for-linux.html
