Problem after changing from GK420 to GX430

Hi.

I'm really struggling for hours now to set up our new printer GX430T to replace our older one GK420D.
I have just installed the drivers and made sure setting on both printers are identical. (paper size, etc)
Below the correct one from the old printer on the left and on the right unreadable label from a brand new printer. (label format is epl)

Could anyone, please, help me to sort this out or even lead me how to find the solution?

Kind regards

Hello Nigel,

As you can see here your GK420d has 203 dpi resolution value:
https://www.zebra.com/content/dam/zebra/manuals/printers/desktop/legacy…
And your GX430t has 300 dpi resolution value:
https://www.zebra.com/content/dam/zebra/manuals/printers/desktop/legacy…

That's why most of elements are looking smaller on GX430t.
I would recommend you to use ZebraDesigner to design your labels with respect to printer features and capabilities.

Hi Dmitry.

Thank you for a reply.

We are using labels generated by other shipping tools so we are unable to design our own once. Are there settings to drop the resolution or something like FIT printout to the declared paper size?

Kind regards
