EMDK Profile Manager DotCode Support

A ALTRONIX ALTRONIX 2 years 11 months ago 1 1 0 According to your post here: About EMDK For Android - Zebra Technologies Techdocs DotCode should be supported but using the EMDK Profile Manager to create a profile there's no DotCode on the list. Even if we add it manually in the XML generated file if, it just gives us an error later on. We have the latest version of Android Studio and the EMDK Profile Manager (v7.3.14) installed via the plugin mananger. How do we activate the DotCode besides doing it manually in the DataWedge?

Hi, DotCodeInverse and DotCodeMirror have been added to the EMDK API, not the EMDK Profile Manager.  You can see the API listings for these at the following URLs: ScannerConfig.DotCodeInverse (app API) , ScannerConfig.DotCodeMirror (app API)

You should be able to use the standard barcode sample and modify it to use the dotcode configuration: Barcode APIs - Zebra Technologies Techdocs .  Your scanning hardware does also need to support DotCode as detailed in your device's integration guide.
