Will the MC40 get a KitKat update?

Will the MC40 get a KitKat update? // Expert user has replied. J John-Paul Grube 2 years 11 months ago 12 2 0 We have a few MC40 devices and would like to use the SimulScan feature in the 3.1 EMDK. Does anybody know if the MC40 will get a KitKat update?

Support for the MC40 is currently not planned on the roadmap for SimulScan. If you significant business case opportunities, please bring them to my attention. As an alternative currently supported by SimulScan, I would suggest either TC55 RevB or TC70 MR.
