I try to configure some things as default after hard reset - some work - other don't.
I like to:
- remove the Win EC 7 picture from Desktop
- dim the sound (notifications) to a lower level
I tried with reg keys:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Desktop]
"wallpaper"=""
"tile"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Volume]
"Screen"=dword:00000001
"Volume"=dword:33333333
"Key"=dword:00000001
"Mute"=dword:00000007
but it did'nt work.
Any Idea?

You have the correct setting for the wallpaper.
The .reg file nees to be in the root of \Application and then do a cold boot.
The .reg file must be encoded as UTF-8 or that will cause the file not to work
