About One-Touch Inspection

 

Beacontree’s OneTouch Inspection is a game changing mobile app that utilizes the Near Field Communication (NFC) device on your smart phone or tablet to easily launch an inspection process that meets your safety and quality needs in an efficient manner. 

 

As the term “one-touch” implies, we have designed a simple-to-use, finger-friendly touchscreen that is easy to read, navigate and select.  This turns any complex inspection or questionnaire into an easy to manage process. By coupling our mobile app with robust NFC tags, we make it even easier to manage the process and validate where and when an inspector did this work.

 

One-Touch Inspection enables your Zebra customers with mobile work forces to apply efficient inspections and surveys.

The One-Touch Inspection screenshots are associated with a Pre-Trip Inspection example for large commercial trucks where 7 inspection zones are set up.

 

An inspector goes to read an NFC tag at a particular zone which launches a set of questions for them to answer. If a defect applies, the inspector taps the check box.  Typically, a photo is required when a defect occurs, which gets included with the report.

When all of the inspection points are reviewed, the inspector can now Submit their results back to headquarters.  The color highlighting indicates the worst case defect identified in a zone; red/yellow/green respectively means major/minor/defect-free.  Upon submission, an Inspection Report PDF is emailed back to the inspector which is available for viewing from their phone. As well, there is a Google Map link to show where the inspection took place.
