          Hi all,
Same question here- when can we expect to see an AppCenter solution for the ET-1?

          Thank you,
          Greg

Is it even possible? I recall reading somewhere that we don't have control of the "home" button in Android: it will always return you to the OS homescreen, so we'd need to "break" Android to make this work.

Of course I could be very very wrong but this is definitely something we are going to need going forward.

Not Appcenter, but we have a utility called Applock that also integrates with our Multi-user login value add tools for Android. Applock works kinda appcenter with applicaiton white list and we can do it by user as well.

You can't control the Home button, but you can replace the Home Screen in general with your application and get rid of the original APK, which pretty much solved the problem

                    Hi,

Can you please elaborate on your response?

Does this mean that in order to replicate what we have with "AppCenter" we need to do two things- replace the Home Screen and run Applock?

                    1) "Replace the Home Screen with your application and remove original APK.."

                    How do we accomplish this?

What if we want to provide the user with access to several applications,  and also hide access to the rest of the system?

                    2) How do we obtain a copy of AppLock to create the whitelist and prevent undesired applications from running?

                    Thank you,

                    Greg
