ASP.NET and Rhoelements

Has anyone been successful at using ASP.NET with Rhoelements? (Not ASP.NET MVC).

I'm finding that the pages render fine, but postbacks aren't working. Digging into it, it looks like ASP.NET is not injecting the hidden elements it uses to do postbacks (__EVENTARGUMENT & __EVENTTARGET).

Thanks,

Josh

I have seen similar problems

I have seen similar problems with ASP.NET apps if the server does not recognize the User agent string that the browser provides.  I saw it with IE when we were sending a custom string (not the standard IE string).  In RhoElements, the useragent string is configurable in the config.xml file, so it can be changed, but it might make more sense to update IIS to recognize the string it's seeing. Here's a link to a doc that describes how you can modify the server end so that it knows the capabilities of the device by editing the Browsecap.ini file.
