    Why does my numeric keypad default to alpha entry?

      On some device families by default RhoElements will switch your device to alpha keypad entry, even if your device has a numeric keypad.

      You can switch your keypad entry between alphanumeric and numeric using the attached executable, call it from within RhoElements as follows:

       <HTML>
       <HEAD>
       <META HTTP-Equiv="quitbutton" Content="visibility:visible">
       <META HTTP-Equiv="KeyState" Content="visibility:visible">
       <TITLE>Key Switch Launch Test</TITLE>
       </HEAD>

       <BODY onload="doLoad()">
       <form>
       <input id="textbox" type="text"></input>
       </form>
       <script>
       function doLoad()
       {
             generic.LaunchProcess('\\application\\keyswitch.exe', '/num'); // parameters /num or /alpha
       }
       </script>
       </BODY>
       </HTML>
