Web application development using Apache Wicket (java)

Is there anyone using this technology for developing their web applications, as well as using the Datawedge software to enable scanning.

Hi Riaan, as you probably know the purpose for Datawedge is to enable the scan engine in MSI devices for applications that are scanner unaware. Therefore Datawedge is configured through its interface to enable the scan engine in order to work with any application written in any technology - even through Pocket Word. Datawedge is independent from any programs. You would set up Datawedge profile once for all apps. It would decode barcodes and pass the data to any app with an input field that has focus. There are no APIs and therefore IDE independent.  Hope this answers your question.
