I'm also having trouble with this on Windows 64bit OS (Intel). I've added the appropriate additions to the ini files that the ET1 Integrators Guide instructs me to do, USB debugging is enabled on the device, connected through the cradel, but I still can't see the device in my list of devices through "adb devices". It should be noted that I can see the device's USB storage when connected and I turn on "USB Storage". Chris and I are both using the same ET1.
Windows can't find the appropriate driver, even if I point it in the correct place.
What specific folder/ file are you editing in OSX to add the info needed for the ET1? My Mac is in the process of being repaired so I can’t take a look at the moment and tell you what worked for me. I think it was:
I did add 0x05E0 on its own line to the ~/.android/adb_usb.ini, but that did not help. I continued to read about /etc/udev/rules.d but that doesn't exist on OSX. When reading through the Google docs, they say to skip this entire step altogether and that 'it just works'
What if the ~/.android/adb_usb.ini file does not exist?
Create it? Could you post yours?
