Deploy Linked Folder to RhoSimulator

Hi,

In our RhoMobile project we have a linked folder that points to the location outside our workspace. When we run the project in RhoSimulator (Windows Mobile configuration), the web page cannot find the linked files - it looks like they are not deployed to the simulator. Do we have to edit some additional settings in the project to make the linked folder deployable.

Thanks!

Why not copy the file to a folder within your project and link to it that way?

So, for example, if you put the file in the 'public' folder, you could reference it like this:

/public/<file name>

The reason is that we cannot move the files. Of course, if we could have the files locally, in our workspace, we would just include them in the project and this post wouldn't be necessary. But the files have to stay in the folder there are in now. We can link this folder from the public folder, but the outcome is the same - when we run the project in the RhoSimulator, the linked files cannot be found. Somewhat of a solution for us was to do code branching in TFS so we could have a copy of the files in ou RhoStudio workspace.

It's actually neither.

It's actually neither. Logically it should be in the public folder, so we can link it from there, but physically it's outside the project's workspace. We've already moved to MVC, but it would still be nice to know if we can link in such way in RhoStudio for some potential future projects.
