I am currently not able to find the exact links or articles which clearly specifies the compatibility of RFID with Motorola devices MC 75 and MC 75A. As I need to develop an application, for tracking objects, for MC 75 and MC75A devices and implement the RFID reader feature in it.
Now, to implement this feature, technically, I need the exposed API's from Motorola for these particular devices. The devices MC 75 and MC 75A doesn't have integrated RFID scanning capabilities which means that certain accessories needs to be attached with devices MC 75 and MC 75A.
So the question arises: Will I be able to implement/support the RFID feature in the application for devices MC 75 and MC 75A? If yes, which library or utility can help me in this?
Your reply will be appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
if i understand your request properly it looks you are asking if the RFID3 library from our EMDK can be used on Snapon RFID products like the ones from TSL UK ( http://www.tsl.uk.com/ProductsByTechnologyRFID.htm )
that would not be the case as the RFID3 sample is geared towards our MC9190Z and MC3190Z devices with builtin RFID reader.
so in case you would like to integrate in your application any third party RFID Snapons then you have to source and look at the 3th party API's
hope this helps
Thank you very much for taking time to respond.
Thats what I was looking for i.e. RFID3 library will not support 3rd party RFID snapons for devices MC75 and MC75A.
Now, first thing is clear that I need 3rd party RFID snapons to support RFID feature with MC75 anc MC75A devices in my application.
secondly, where can I find the same 3rd party API's to support the RFID snapons?
I mean does the exposed API will be provided the RFID snapon vendor himself?
