Date: 6/22/2012 Product FX9500 fw 1.5 Clarify: 2625954 Customer is looking for event registering API.  They are using on XR480 and FX7400 following code rfid = new RFIDReader(hostname, port, 0); rfid.Connect(); rfid.Events.NotifyGPIEvent = true; rfid.Events.StatusNotify += new Events.StatusNotifyHandler(Events_StatusNotify); void Events_StatusNotify(object sender, Events.StatusEventArgs e) {  } to get GPIO ports event automatically, This does not work on FX9500, there is no event registered. However by other events like antena connection it works as expected.  Do you know why please? Manzy thanks in advance Michal

This is the case. They use external PSU and activity is indicated by the LED. It looks more to be problem with comunication protocol.

One thing to check for is the wiring of the GPIO. I ran into this problem when testing my setup. Both XR and FX7400 provide inline power for GPIO, while FX9500 requires you to have external power supply. So, first check with the customer if there's any GPIO activity at all (LED 4 - Red or SessionOne/PowerSession) :)
