    Using RhoConf.send_log

      hi,

      i am implementing my own log server by updating the http://github.com/rhomobile/rhologs source, so that files are saved on the local server and have a number of question as follows:

      * Among the parameters available in the client_log request is client_id, which can be used to identify the device from which the log was uploaded. What i need to know is if there is a way to map this client_id value to get the name of the currently logged-in user from rhoconnect, or update the post request to include this value?

      following is a sample of the post parameters being received:

      {"client_id"=>"863e83c7a60341efb4023f96a761951d", "device_pin"=>"qt_client", "log_name"=>"MyDemo", "blob"=>{:filename=>"rholog.txt", :type=>"application/octet-stream", :name=>"blob", :tempfile=>#<File:D:/Users/xxxxxx/AppData/Local/Temp/RackMultipart20130314-5636-utksiw>, :head=>"Content-Disposition: form-data; name=\"blob\"; filename=\"rholog.txt\"\r\nContent-Type: application/octet-stream\r\nContent-Length: 49919\r\n"}}

      * Although files are being successfully received on the server, the following entry is being written to the log file on the device/simulator when send_log is called; should i be worried about this?

      E 03/14/2013 09:05:40:069 00000a3c              upload_logs:    | starting to upload log file

      E 03/14/2013 09:05:40:162 00000ef8               Net| Call HttpQueryInfo failed. Url:http://10.0.0.24:4567/client_log?client_id=863e83c7a60341efb4023f96a761951d&device_pin=qt_client&log_name=MyDemo. With code : 122

      E 03/14/2013 09:05:40:162 00000ef8 RhodesAppBase.cpp: 175| send_log failed : network error - -1; Body -

      * When uploading a file from a device, do i need to license the device? currently log files uploaded to the server from unlicensed devices differ from what is seen on the device using the log viewer, with a message saying Device/Application is not licensed.

      thanks.
