    Use awesome font with RhoElements

      The awesome font (http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/) is usable with RhoElements V2.2.1.13. With RhoElements V1.0.3 the icons from the awesome font are not displayed. I found no webfont that's displayed by RhoElements V1.x. Does anybody use foreign fonts with RhoElements?

          Hi Klaus

            We used tahoma font in our application. You have to declare the font-face like

          @font-face { font-family: local_tahoma_bold; src: url('/public/fonts/Tahoma_Bold.ttf') }   /* font name local_tahoma_bold */

          @font-face { font-family: local_tahoma; src: url('/public/fonts/Tahoma.ttf') }     /* font name local_tahoma */

          1) You have to paste the downloaded font at '/public/...' folder of your app

          2) You can use font like font-family:local_tahoma,Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;

              Hi Kutir,

              I use awesome font with the following css

              @font-face {

                  font-family: 'FontAwesome';

                  src: url('../font/fontawesome-webfont.eot');

                  src: url('../font/fontawesome-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),

                      url('../font/fontawesome-webfont.woff') format('woff'),

                      url('../font/fontawesome-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'),

                      url('../font/fontawesome-webfont.svgz#FontAwesomeRegular') format('svg'),

                      url('../font/fontawesome-webfont.svg#FontAwesomeRegular') format('svg');

                  font-weight: normal;

                  font-style: normal;

              with RhoElements V2.2.1.13 and the font files are on the server (css: xxx/css/ font: xxx/font/fontawesome-webfont.ttf). This works fine with RhoElements V2 on Motorola MC55 and MC3190 (and with Firefox on Desktop) but not with RhoElements V1 - displays only a square. This weekend I found the fix for RhoElements V1. You had to copy the font file (fontawesome-webfont.ttf - Truetype) to the handheld (\windows directory on windows mobile resp. windows CE). RhoElements V1 displays the awesome font when the Truetype font file is stored on the device. RhoElements V2 uses the font from the server.
