    How to pre-configure apdconfig.xml

      Hello,

      could anybody bring more light how to pre-configure apdconfig.xml. Customer would like to pre-configure all his ET1s at the different customer sites with the correct printer parameters in advance (with help of SOTI) so there is no special need for HTML code to configure the APD printer driver.

            Well this way is not standard and it was not intended to use apdconfig.xml in that way but it is possible.

            The values for BT printer are highlighted below:

            <apdconfiguration>

              <path formats="/Android/data/com.motorolasolutions.rhoelements/APD/Formats/"

              templates="/Android/data/com.motorolasolutions.rhoelements/APD/Template/"

              idlabels="/Android/data/com.motorolasolutions.rhoelements/APD/ID_Label/" />

            <printer bluetooth="00:03:7A:31:9F:59"

              id="0"

              ipaddress=""

              ipport="0"

              language="C"

              message="0"

            model="53"

              transport="0"/>

            </apdconfiguration>

            This page can help to determine the correct model code:

            http://docs.rhomobile.com/rhoelements/apd-printer-type-codes

            Anyway if you are not sure you can create a debug application and put the values in native application when you run the application and pair the device with printer it will fill the apdconfig.xml with correct values. Then you can use information from apdconfig.xml and delete additional source code from your application.
