I've written a C# application to run on the ES400. This application is then scheduled to run at a set time using the Notifications list.
I find that the application runs correctly if the device is turned on a the time it is scheduled to run, but not if the device is in standby mode.
I've tried lots of tricks suggested on the Internet to force the device to go into unattended mode when the application runs, but nothing so far has proved to be reliable.
Does anyone have an example of getting this type of application to work?
What I'm trying to achive is an application that will connect to a server to see if new data is available and alert the user if this is the case. This has to work even if the device has gone to sleep. Is this possible?
