Do you have the .net 4.0 framework installed?, or SP3 is you are using XP. I have been using RDT for a few months, and no issues. If you the installation prerequisites installed, then please call the support center at 800-653-5350 and open a case.
Actually I'm using Win7 and .net 4.5 was already installed. I tried and found that it works on a virtual machine without any problem but not on my computer.
