Hi Fernando ,
To my knowledge Rhodes service application is mandatory for running Rhodes application and you should not stop it.
Lets also wait to hear from Motorola team.
I think that this service is not mandatory because when I open the application the first time it initializes this service however if I go in and kill the service configuration and initialize the application again this service is not running.,
Visnupriya is right. Rhodes application cannot operate without RhodesService and you cannot stop it without some API degradation. It is core of all native operations. We do not support running without RhodesService. Anyway if you do not use/call it then the service cannot leak memory.
What Android version do you use to test the application?
Hello Alexey Tikhvinsky ,
We are using Android's 4.1.2, 4.2.2, 4.4 Kitkat for tests and we are facing problems of increased memory. As we are using an application made in Rhodes, including the Demo application, generated by Rhodes Studio.
Have tried forcing Garbage Collector (GC.Start) without more success.
I have no idea what the problem is, if they have any suggestion is welcome.
