    Rhodes 3.5 and iOS7 issues

    subramanya Ss

      Hi All,

I have an app which was developed using Rhodes 3.5 for both iOS and Android. I installed the app in iPad with OS 7. But it is has lot  of issues.

Our app is developed only in Portrait mode and not in Landscape, but when we open the app in Landscape mode in iPad (OS 7),

      1. the splash screen will displayed in landscape mode for few seconds and then turns to portrait.and the image is stretched.

      2. the number pad is displaying in landscape mode even we turn the device in portrait.

these issue are only in iPad with OS7 and i checked the same in iPad with OS6, it has no issues and working very fine.

Please help me on these and Thanks in advance.

          Hi Subramanya,

As per my knowledge, only RMS 4.0 supports iOS7 fully and so its not right to debug it with Rhodes 3.5. You already mentioned its working with iOS6. It appears purely like upgrade issue.

Just for testing purpose, can you install RMS 4 on separate environment (rvm gemset) and try your app on it.

I am able to build the app, the problem was with the location of SDK "iphoneos7.0". If there are multiple XCode versions are installed in the system, then it will search the SDK's in the default path(first XCode installed path). i moved the SDK file to the default path and it build successfully.

But, i am still having the same issue of screen rotation in iOS7 as mentioned in my first post. Can anyone help me on this plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz................

                    Thank you
