Zebra BASIC Interpreter (ZBI) 2.0

Customize and enhance your Zebra printers with ZBI (Zebra BASIC Interpreter) 2.0. Available as an optional Zebra printer programming language, ZBI 2.0 allows Zebra printers to run applications, prompt users through control-panel commands and take input from scales, scanners and other peripherals – all without a PC or network connection.

Using ZBI 2.0, compatible Zebra printers can create barcodes and text using inputs received from non-ZPL label formats, sensors, keyboards and peripherals. Printers can also be programmed to interact with PC-based database applications to retrieve information to be used on printed labels.

The ZBI Developer is a free utility that provides a virtual ZBI 2.0 environment on your PC, simplifying creating and testing of ZBI 2.0 programs. It provides a powerful and flexible toolset for customizing Zebra printers to fit your unique applications. The built-in "Virtual Printer" allows you to quickly create, test and prepare programs for use.
