I was trying to setup my DHCP server to provide controller IP address to an AP6532 via DHCP option 191 and was not having any luck.  after struggling with it for a bit I took a sniffer trace and realized that the AP6532 incorrectly identifies itself as a "MotorolaAP.AP650", contrary to the documentation. once I made the appropriate change in my DHCP server, the AP found its way and adopted. p.s. an AP650 identifies itself the same way "MotorolaAP.AP650" I was surprised not to find any posting on this so I hope this helps the next person. regards, afshin

Afshin, This would be because of a bug in the current AP6532 firmware. The AP6532 should be using the option 60 vendor-class value MotorolaAP.AP6532 but instead its using MotorolaAP.AP650. This is the wrong value! I have allready raised this issue to engineering and it is being addressed in the upcomming 5.2.12, 5.3.1 and 5.2.3 releases. Regards, Kevin
