I have a customer that wants to try and use the ET1 to replace some POS devices at their locations. We have attached the following to the ET1: - USB Cradle - Host Adapter cradle plugged into USB port on the cradle - Powered USB hub into Host adapter cradle with USB Keyboard and Mouse plugged in - Micro HDMI to DVI-D Cable for external display I have the following questions:
Is there anyway to have the ET1 wake up when it suspends in the cradle by using the external keyboard or mouse? I have tried to setup Wake up Source from Settings and doesn't seem to work.
Is there any to control the Video out of the ET1? I'm assuming it 1200X600. Any way to change the resolution?
If anyone has any experience in this setup, please chime in. Thanks.

Chris, Did you try a standard 4 port unpowered USB hub (e.g. http://www.stuff-uk.net/p-106211.aspx?gclid=CPPIjIO197YCFYaz3god6CQANg&…;) connected via a micro USB to USB A female adaptor? I think this would work (for low power USB devices) without any need for a custom cable. Best Regards, Ian Hatton
My customer wanted to use the ET1 in the cradle, and output the video via the HDMI and connect a USB keyboard and mouse. I created the attached document as reference guide on how I did it. If anyone has any additional information or suggestions, please let me know and I can add them to the doc.
Bumping this topic looking for any other accounts that have run across the need for an ET1 docking station for their customer. We have a custom product request design proposal to make a dongle that would attach to the current cradle to provide a USB port for mouse and keyboard, and then the customer would connect the HDMI. Our customer is telling us that most all other tablets being sold into the enterprise have a docking station as an accessory. I have attached the design, We are looking for more customers to participate in this custom, so please let me know if you are interested,
