Customer has purchased 1400 ES400S units and half were deployed last year the other half in progress for this year. Our issue it that the REVA release 1.20.027 was not available last year. They need to be updated for support as well as fixes. The devices are out in service running XATA Turnpike as their main Application as well as Opera Browser. No central location to update via WLAN. No MDM purchased. Has anyone tried to use PKG builder to run in the Mobile computer as local host pointing the update on the SD card as the source directory? Carrier claiming this is a billable service but the customers pereption is OTA non intrusive updates are free on everything else. Windows Mobile is erasing their settings and applcations are intermittent in results. Any Help would be appreciated.
