Attached are cheat sheets I created for connecting the RS507 and CS3070 to the ET1.

Hi Chris, If I recall they said that is how it is and you have to re-pair the CS3070 by scanning the pairing barcode pins.  With the iPAD it doesn't require you to rescan the pins when you get out of range or power off and come back to it.  So you need to pitch the ET1 with the scanner accessory engine if scan intensive or leverage the camera as the scanner if casual scanning is required. Thanks for the feedback Chris.  I have a case open and will share with the team what comes of it. Cheers, Mark

Has anyone manage to successful pair an MC95 WM65 with the RS507 ?  I can get it connected but it doesn’t seem to maintain a connected state.   I am trying to use the RS507 with Wavelink Telnet but I cannot seem to get it to work.

Mark, Did you get anything back from support about the re-pairing issue? Chris

Hi Chris, Thanks for the docs.  Question regarding ET1 pairing with CS3070.  I've noticed that the behavior between the CS3070 with an iPAD2 is very different from ET1.  Example iPAD i can power off the CS3070 and then power it back on and it will continue to scan.  However, if i power off and then power on the CS3070 when paired with ET1 it will never allow you to continue to scan.  You have to go back and rediscover the scanner and then scan with the unique PIN. Have you seen this behavior as well? Mark

I have to admit, it took me a long time to just get it paired.  I only ran two tests of re-pairing.  One worked, and one required me to re-pair. Sounds like a good science project for someone to take on or open a case if re-pairing is an issue. I personally think the camera scanning on the ET1 is great.  Maybe my customer wont think its so bad once they have to constantly re-pair...
