I am currently faced with three major accounts reporting file and memory corruption on the MC75xx.  I am aware of the history of this as I was an active participant in the initial escalation.  The then focus was on the abnormal removal of power from the unit and the resolution: Device stuck on Splash Screen - SPR 18183, 19034, 19126 was provided as a fix.  With this fix applied, initially there was a quiet period where we believed that the isue was resolved; however, as of late, apparenlty this is not the case. I am trying to ascertain how pervasive this issue may be.  Please provide your feedback based on the MC75xx.  I am aware of similar challenges on other models, but my focus is on the MC75xx. If you are experiencing this issue on your accounts, please provide the device model, OS, and any hotfixes applied.  Also, the frequency of occurrence. Thanks in advance, Don

One other consideration to keep in mind is the aging of the flash itself after years of use. Use case of the device is important here.  One thing we saw several years ago was that certain MDM's (Mobile Device Managers) were excessively logging to the device (reading/writing to flash) at a rate that was using up the flash's specified read/write lifecycle much quicker than would be expected with normal usage..
