GK420t: special characters and correct position to tear off the label

Hi all,
i have two problems with a GK420t:

a) I would print two special characters, ° and À. I am writing the code on labelary.com and using the code ^CI28, the preview of the print is correct, but when i print the label, i have ? instead of ° and À.
This is the code:
"^FO25,162^CI28^FDViscosita = 13,7 °Gallenkamp^FS"
and this what is write on the label:
Viscosit? = 13,7 ?Gallenkamp

Any suggests?

b) I made the alignment with the only button on the printer and the print is okay. The problem is that the part where I should tear the label remains inside the printer, and it is impossible to tear it properly without damaging it. Is it normal? I attached a picture.
The size of the label is 10x5 cm.

Resolved!

a) the problem was that the string was ASCII and not UTF8.

b) i changed some parameters on the printer settings on the browser page.
