An end user claims that remote desktop client is not available in the brand new MC2100 they have just received for testing. Can somebody verify if this true and suggest any possible workarounds? Thanks in advance.

For the brave man you could go with the following open source port of rdesktop: http://code.google.com/p/rdesktop-ce/downloads/list
MC2180 uses CE6-Core and not the full featured CE6-Pro. CE6 Core does not provide Remote Desktop. If this is requried, you would need to upsell to the MC3190.

Depending on your usage model, VNC may help.
