Dear Support Team,
We are trying to follow your steps to read Scale from our .net visual Studio 2008 Application C# either using com port or your SDK but no luck, we couldn't
We installed your C# sample too through this link: https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/Scale-OPOS-Sample-Applicat…
but it didn't read the scale based on your described steps too.
So what should we do in order to read it from our POS could you please give us an example of calling your SDK to get the scale weight using c# on visual studio 2008
Thanks and appreciated

Few points to take in consideration , USB to Serial adapter will not work for this process .
to use OPOS over RS232 you will need to set the MP7 to SSI host , edit corescanner config to point out the used port .
I done this setup in past see link https://zebra.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/i0000000KxK7/a/6S00000029X4/_ljhL…
Since you need to use OPOS , any reason on not using USB cable and have MP7 set into IBM Table top ( default mode ) this will work straight out of the box .
Regards
We have a problem and it does not work with us. Can you send the programming code while we are using visual studio 2008 and C#

Waiting for your response ASAP.
Have a nice day
The document I provided list exactly the steps on how to get scale weight using oops over RS232 and c# demo app which is part of the SDK .any reason on using serial cable ?
It could be that your units has some hardware problem .
What's the firmware on your MP7 ? What's reference of the cable ?
Did you first test that communication over serial is working ? Do you get the scan data over serial ?
Summarize the exact setup and steps you have followed including the cables used and where connected .
Note RS232 over USB adapter are not supported .
Note that if you are looking for urgent support my suggestion is that you reach support line over the phone that will speed up the resolution or root cause of your issue
