Hi,

I am having trouble with the CS6080 SDK. I am using version 1.4.43. When I launch my IOS app, it is able to detect the older scanner CS4070 when it is turn on and press scan button, but nothing happens when I click on the scan button on the CS6080. The ScannerControl demo app is able to find and connect CS6080. I am not sure what my app is missing.

What pairing process did you integrate  in your application . CS6080 if not MFI sku , will need to be paired using BLE SSI mode which involve scanning pairing barcode

It is paired with MFI with the model CS6080-SR4000VMWW. I followed the at https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/000022074?language=en_US and able to connected the ScannerControl but not our app.

Hi,

I paired it with MFI with this model CS6080-SR40004VMWW. We don't want to pair it as BLE SSI which make it a keyboard wedge.

This model support MFI and pairing process is accurate. at this state you need to get someone to look at your application code since everything works with SCA

I am not sure if it is because we are running the SDK primary with Obj-C code. Is it possible to check if sdkApiInstance events are running in the background like some logs showing in the console? When I press the scan button on the CS4070, it is able to call on sbtEventScannerAppeared function. I did the same with CS6080 but nothing happened. I double checked it is paired to the iPad. Both device are added to the Info.plist. Who are you referring to that can help me look at my application code? I am the only developer to this project.

Hi,

Not sure my respond was send last week. I am still stuck and don't have anyone to help. I copied everything from the demo app. I am using Obj-C with the latest SDK. When the older scanner turns on, it is able to detect my old scanner CS4070 easily and call this function sbtEventScannerAppeared. No matter what I try, sbtEventScannerAppeared couldn't detect CS6080. I don't know what else to try. I couldn't find why the demo app is able to detect CS6080, but not my app.

Did you make sure CS6080 is running latest firmware ? if not please update the firmware of your CS6080

Could you share a sample app code and steps that allow to reproduce the problem?
