Highlights 

  • New filter support in /ota-api/artifacts and /ota-api/artifacts/search APIs.

SUPPORT NOTES: 

  • LifeGuard OTA does NOT support Zebra MC33R devices 
     

NOTE: Deploying updates to unsupported devices could result in failure or unexpected results.  

 

  

End User Attention Required:

If a device from models belonging to 6490, 6375 platform attempts an A14 upgrade while running a build lower than mandatory packages specified in the table below, the FOTA server will automatically apply the mandatory package followed by the A14 target. During the upgrade process, the end user may experience multiple reboots.

Usage Notes 

  • Prior to enrolling devices in the OTA Update Delivery service, ensure that “Zebra Common Transport Layer” and “Zebra Enrollment Manager” applications are installed via Google Managed Play on the device. 

Known Issues 

  • Zebra device enrollment occasionally fails; the Get Enrolled Asset API does not list some devices being enrolled. Remedy: Reboot the device and re-enroll.
