hello,

I am writing ZPL commands to print a label in ZT420 300 DPI printer. I have to use Arial font for text in label. I can see preloaded fonts in the printer named as 'A.FNT, 'B.FNT etc  but could not find what font (ARIAL, TIMES NEW ROMAN, CALIBRI ..etc) is actually used in these files.

Tried, 0, A, B, D, F, G, P, Q, R, S, T .. these fonts doesnt match Arial font.

In general, fonts are copy-righted. The fonts pre-loaded on Zebra printers are authorized fonts. It's user's responsibility to obtain the proper authorization for using 3rd party fonts, such as Arial font. If you have the font file of Arial font, you can use the Printer Setup Utility to download the font file to the printer. Then you can assign a letter to the Arial font to use in ZPL.

Thanks Steven. I tried loading the Arial font complete package into ZT420 but couldnt load it says no space but the printer has enough space to load.

I tried loading the font specific format and size and was able to load.
