RFID Receiver Sensitivity Or RF Range

I'm developing an Android RFID scanner application for a Zebra MC3300 handheld scanner.
The application is using Zebra's API3_LIB-release-2.0.2.82 SDK

Currently the application reads RFID tags well. However, we've noticed that when reading various RFID tags, the application picks up tags that are located relatively far away. For example on the other side of the building, which is undesirable.

Is there a way to set the sensitivity of the RFID reader? With the SDK, do I have the ability to increase or decrease the range of the outgoing RF signal that's emitted from the scanner?

I would recommend updating to the most- up-to-date RFID SDK  (Android Studio V2.0.2.110,  Xamarin V 2.0.1.110)

Also be careful if you test your app and use 123RFID Mobile app at the same "time" so to speak.
The 123RFID Mobile - app may force its own settings on the Reader, and if your app when you Suspend / Resume and re-attach to the RFID Interface - may have the settings "adjusted" by the last session that 123RFID Mobile app - could have been applied.

It is wise to disconnect from the Reader if you are suing 123RFID Mobile at the same time you are testing your app.
