How to take a picture with a scanner on a mobile device ?
This device doesn't have a camera (No front, No back) , I would like to take a photo with the scanner. (In the regreted Windows os that was possible... lol) I think in Android it's possible but how ?
I tried by this way :
CameraManager manager = (CameraManager) view.getContext().getSystemService(Context.CAMERA_SERVICE);
for (String cameraId : manager.getCameraIdList()) {
}
--> But the list (manager.getCameraIdList()) is allways empty.
Ps : Of course, in the application I have defined correcty permissions...
Ps : With StageNow : Imager Camera is Enable.
The result is the same if I enable or disable datawedge....
Info device :
- Non-GMS Device
- System Android 8.1.0
- Scan Engine : SE4750MR Imager with Laser Aimer
Thanks for the help!
Best regards,
Frédéric N.

Hi,
I had following info by using UseImagerCamera api but it seems it’s limited up to Oreo ☹

So it will be appreciated if anybody recommend any other way.
