I am creating an Android application for Zebra mc3300x  and I would like to programatically turn the Show virtual keyboard setting on or off. It is possible to hide the software keyboard by settings (picture in attachments, screenshot 1), but it prohibit software keyboard in complete device and all application, I need to prevent soft keyboard popping up after Entry (text input field) focus in some cases and allow it in other ones dynamically, when the application is running. I have auth screen where I need to show software keyboard and also I have screen with search bar where I also need to show software keyboard but in one screen user enters only numbers and I need to hide software keyboard to give user opportunity to enter value by only physical keyboard. Is it possible to reach this feature?

I tried to reach this like in screenshot 2, but after tapping on physical keyboard of device software keyboard is toggling also,
