Hello,

we currently try to encode data (in our case a json), generated from our java application, onto a card using the ZC300.
We found a example with the title "Position a card for smart card encoding" but in that example the only relevant part (for encoding) is
int jobId = zmotifCardPrinter.smartCardEncode(1);

But we cant figure out how we define which data will be encoded to the card.
The method "smartCardEncode" function only allow one parameter -> the count.

For example the "magEncode" for mag-stripes have multiple parameters and 3 parameters for the data.

I hope anybody can help out, thanks !

Best
Dustin

I think you need a zc300 with encoder and the encoder(rfid encoder or mifare) has it's own libraries.

You need to pass a certification with zebra to get these libs.

read this and try the tools like verification or card studio: https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/Encoding-a-Smart-Card-Using-a-Zebra-Card-Printer?language=en_US

watch this or look for the slides :
