We're working with Zebra mobile printer, specifically with the ZQ310 and we used ZebraPrinterLinkOs class' getAvailableSettings() to retrieve its available settings. It gives around 400 settings and it's not clear as to what each setting does and which setting is read only. So is there any documentation that gives an explanation of each of these settings and tell us whether it's settable or simply read only. Also we would like to know whether these settings are model specific or common across all mobile printers. If they're model specific then where can we find that documentation as well?

The response from the getAvailableSettings() is printer model specific. Some models may have more options for some settings while some may have less options for some settings. Though the settings are printer model specific in general, a big portion of the settings are common across all printer models, such as settings related connectivity configurationl.
See the SGD (Set-Get-Do) section on the ZPL Programming Guide for more information on a specific setting. Some settings are read-write and some are read-only.
