The actual process tu upgrade the cradle firmware needs to be more industrial instead of individual. We are looking for a way to upgrade many cradles in 1 step. As the MC18 is manageable and the device make the cradle firmware update, the idea is to have a settings to upgrade cradles using MC18. Can we expect to use a management tools like MSP or another management tool to upgrade the cradle firmware ?

I releize this was answered by Rajeev via e-mail on 5/16, but I wanted to post it here as well.
Yes, the MDM based updates to cradle and scanner firmware is a part of our design. We are working with Airwatch team on this support. And we are hopeful to include this in our FC release.
From the OS, we provide ways to invoke the cradle firmware update utility at command-line (without UI), so that its possible for updating cradle firmware without manual user intervention.
