NOTICE: This patch is only required if your MSP 3.2 installation meets the following scenario: The PC that the MSP server application is running on HAS NEVER HAD SQL Server 2005 installed on it and is configured to use a database residing on a remote SQL Server. (An example is the High Availability Configuration) If this is the case, you must install this patch on the MSP Application Server PC only. SUMMARY: Essentially, the neccesary SQL assemblies are not automatically installed on the 3.2.0 MSP Application Server when the above scenario is used. Refer to SPR #15610 for complete details.
The zip file containing the files for the patch are attached. The filename is MSP32_InstallPatch080731.zip. It contains the SQL assembly dlls and a batch file which will copy the dlls to the correct assembly directory in the Windows folder. Here are the steps to apply the Patch.

1. Make sure all of the MSP services are stopped. You can use the MSP Administration Program to do this.2. Unzip the files and run the ApplyPatch.bat file.3. Restart the MSP Services.
