I have a customer who has developed an application on the MC9090 using the IBM J9 JVM. They have developed on a non WWAN (GPRS) terminal and the application communicates via a wi-fi connection.

A couple of questions have been asked and I hope someone may be able to help me answer them.

Is the WWAN (GPRS) version of the MC9090 (WM5.0 Phone Edition) supported by the IBM J9 JVM and our SMDK V1.4 for Java?
When the MC9090 GPRS version moves to WM6.0 will the IBM J9 JVM be supported?

The reason they are asking is that they want to future proof their choice of terminal. Have the application work on Wi-Fi today but move the GPRS in the future.Thanks,Andy
