TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION Code 5750 (Course Code EDUCEC4000; Assessment EDUCEC4000EX) Technical Certification also requires: Instructor-Led EDUCEC400 and EDUCEC400EX)

The TEAM Certification Program includes a Product Sales certification (5200) and a Technical Product Certification (5750). Technical certification is a two stage process with the first being a prerequisite application approval and then the second being completion of both on-line and instructor-led technical courses and exams. A general understanding of WLAN, WLAN Site Planning, VoIP and PBX’s is highly recommended to successfully implement the TEAM solution.

This TEAM course gives a high level architecture overview of the TEAM solution based upon Motorola’s newly emerged Converged Enterprise Communications (CEC) division. The course was developed to precede the TEAM technical instructor-led program, which is a part of the TEAM certification portfolio.

This course will discuss:▪ Component overview▪ TEAM servers▪ Backhaul equipment▪ Mobile handsets and accessories

This 4-day instructor-led course provides information necessary for managing and maintaining a TEAM solution. This instructor-led course and corresponding exam is one of the learning activities required in order for partners to achieve product certification for TEAM. Following the instructor-led course, participants will be required to successfully complete the EDUCEC400EX TEAM Technical Product Exam. This course will discuss:

▪ TEAM system component overview/operation▪ Network topology overview▪ Network design considerations▪ TEAM solution configuration▪ Subscriber provisioning▪ Reliability and security requirements▪ System troubleshooting tools

TEAM Technical and Sales Training Class Enrollment Process

This document provides information about the enrollment process for both internal employees as well as partners.

TEAM Enrollment Process for Motorola Employees

1. Visit http://edu.symbol.com – If you are already registered please log in on the right hand side. If not see the registration process below. (*Note- Legacy Symbol employees can use the employee login box all others will need to use the partner log in box.)

2. Once logged in successfully students can search for and enroll into the available TEAM Sales/Technical certifications and required trainings.

a. To Search you can use the code or title search entry boxes located at the top right of the screen after log in.

i. Search for Code: 5750 – TEAM Product-Specific Technical Certification ii. Search for Code: 5200 – TEAM Product-Specific Sales Certification (**Not live yet until Online Course is uploaded to production server)

3. Once enrolled into the certification students will need to enroll into any required training components within the certification track.

4. If prerequisites are required a student will not be able to enroll into any required activities until those prerequisites are met. The TEAM technical training requires that a prerequisite authorization code be entered prior to enrollment into the Instructor-led training class. Please follow the instructions within the certification page for more detail.

5. For prerequisite authorization and completion please enroll and launch the prerequisite course. You will be asked to provide an authorization code. You can enter in CEC1000 as your employee authorization code. Please do not share this with any partner as everyone will be asked to provide this to ensure enrollment credibility and program management.

Motorola Employee Registration Process - http://edu.symbol.com

*Please note the Education registration process is not for legacy Symbol Employees. These employees should log in using their last name and legacy Symbol badge number. All other employees will have to register first. Do not try to log in using your core id it will not work.

· Go to http://edu.symbol.com· Click on “REQUEST AN ACCOUNT” from the left side navigation bar and select “Symbol Temporary Associate”· Complete all fields and hit the submit button. Choose your own LOGIN ID and pass code· For Company Name, choose **Motorola -- EMB** from the drop down list. Do not concern yourself about providing a badge number. You must use your Motorola email.· To expedite this process, please E-mail MotorolaEnterpriseEdu@motorola.com once you have submitted your request. MEE will enable your account and expand your domain to include the “employee designation”. All requests will be processed within one business day.

i. Please note, once your account has been activated, you will be typing your USER ID and PASSCODE into the “Channel Partner, Customer, End User” area, not in the employee area. The employee area is only working for legacy Symbol employees at this time.ii. Account activations may take up to 72 hours
